Get ready to go, go Power Rangers, because the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers are suiting up for their Fortnite debut. Shock N’ Awesome Season is here!
It’s Morphin time, Fortnite players, because the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers are suiting up for Fortnite. With the current season just hours away from its climax, Epic Games has revealed its plan for the new season, and if you were hoping for a bug invasion narrative, you’ll be eating well next season. In Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 4: Shock N’ Awesome, players will be fighting off hordes of alien bugs. But thankfully, we won’t be fighting off the invasion alone. New Spartan warriors from Halo will be dropping in to take the fight to those pesky insects, and if that isn’t enough, Tommy Oliver’s Green Power Ranger will be kicking into action.
These awesome new skins will be a part of the fantastic new Battle Pass, which kicks off tomorrow. But of course, the Green Ranger can’t fight the bugs alone, and with one yell of “It’s Morphin time,” the rest of the Power Rangers will be teleporting down to the Fortnite item shop. That’s right, the Red, Blue, Pink, Black, and Yellow Rangers will all be available to complete the team! So brace yourselves for an assault on your V-Bucks. Take a look at the key art below.
IT’S MORPHIN TIME
The recently released trailer has revealed an incredible new array of new weapons for us to utilize in the fight against the bugs. But with a giant creature roaming the map, even the Power Rangers will need something special to combat it. Thankfully, Fortnite has us covered. The Megazord will be available as an unlockable skin, and to make the collaboration all the more impressive, the colossal Zord will become a playable boss on the map throughout the season.
Like Godzilla, the Star Destroyer, and Superman before it, the Megazord is expected to be a spawning power-up that players will be able to deploy if they make it to the drop in time. So get ready for some epic gameplay!
SHOCK N’ AWESOME
From what we are hearing, the new season is shaping up to be a banger. Frustratingly, it seems that Tommy Oliver’s Green Ranger will be this season’s secret skin, meaning players will have to wait until later in the season to unlock him. But with the other Rangers hitting the item shop by mid-August, we’ll be morphing all the way to the bank. Fans of the show will be hoping that Oliver’s White Ranger skin will be an unlockable option, and given that secret skins often have an unlockable second variation, it’s a major possibility.
NEW SEASON
Sadly, until the Battle Pass is fully revealed, this amounts to little more than expectation and speculation. But with the key art confirming the arrival of more Halo characters and the debut of the Power Rangers, the sky is the limit for the Battle Pass next season. The Power Rangers collaboration is way overdue, and players will be salivating at the possibilities that await them. Remember, DC’s Peacemaker is arriving very soon, so expect surprises to come quickly.
