Netflix has released the action-packed first trailer for One Piece Season 2, featuring Monkey D. Luffy battling giants and monsters. Season 3 has been confirmed!
Raise your sails because Netflix has released the first trailer for One Piece Season 2, also known as One Piece: Into The Grand Line. After a sensational pirate-infested first season, fans have been yearning to get their first look at the next season, and thanks to Netflix, we are eating well this weekend. The new trailer provides a glimpse of what to expect when the series returns next year. We see Monkey D. Luffy unleashing multiple powerful punches, a land inhabited by giants, new villains, and even a gigantic sea creature. If that doesn’t excite you for the grand adventure ahead, the trailer concludes by confirming that Season 3 has been greenlit and will begin shooting soon.
That’s right, the quest for the One Piece is far from over, and we are here for it 100%. But don’t take my word for it, strap in and watch the trailer below.
SET SAIL FOR THE GRAND LINE
Season 2 will unleash “fiercer adversaries and the most perilous quests yet,” according to the official synopsis. “Luffy and the Straw Hats set sail for the extraordinary Grand Line — a legendary stretch of sea where danger and wonder await at every turn. As they journey through this unpredictable realm in search of the world’s greatest treasure, they’ll encounter bizarre islands and a host of formidable new enemies.”
New episodes will feature fan-favorite character Tony Tony Chopper (voiced by Mikaela Hoover), a reindeer-boy hybrid who’s as smart as he is cute.

CAST & CREW
The whole cast will be returning for the threequel, led, as always, by Iñaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy. Tracz serves as co-showrunner, writer, and executive producer for Season 2 alongside Matt Owens. Additional executive producers for the series include Oda, Marty Adelstein, and Becky Clements through Tomorrow Studios, Tetsu Fujimura, Chris Symes, Christoph Schrewe, and Steven Maeda.
THE SERIES
Based on Eiichiro Oda’s legendary manga series, ONE PIECE follows a daring young pirate named Monkey D. Luffy (Iñaki Godoy) as he sails the seas with his Straw Hats crew: swordsman Roronoa Zoro (Mackenyu), cartographer Nami (Emily Rudd), storyteller Usopp (Jacob Romero), and chef Sanji (Taz Skylar). Luffy dreams of becoming the King of the Pirates by finding infamous pirate Gold Roger’s (Michael Dorman) mysterious treasure, the One Piece.

SEASON 3
As revealed in the video announcement above, the series has also been given an early Season 3 renewal. Production on the third season will begin in Cape Town, South Africa, this fall, with Ian Stokes set to join Joe Tracz as co-showrunner, writer, and executive producer.

RELEASE
What a phenomenal new trailer. The first season of the hit series was a sensation, providing an incredible pirate adventure. Season 2 appears to be building on that strong foundation. With our cast in place, the gloves are off, and the action is ramped up to eleven! The creatures are bigger, the enemies are bolder, and the action looks off the charts. So, we will be sitting in our straw hats for Season 2, come hell or high water. Sadly, Netflix still hasn’t pencilled in a definitive release date, only a tentative 2026 window. But we will bring the news as soon as we get it. In the meantime, there’s always time for a Season One rewatch!
So, get ready to raise your sail, because Monkey D. Luffy returns in One Piece: Into the Grand Line in 2026.
