Sky Sports Announces That G.O.A.T By Kasabian Ft. Cristale Will Be The New Title Track For The 25/26 Premier League Season

Sky Sports has announced that a reworked version of G.O.A.T by Kasabian ft. Cristale will be the title track for the 25/26 Premier League season.

With excitement for the new football season reaching fever pitch, Sky Sports has announced that a reworked version of G.O.A.T by Kasabian ft. Cristale will be the new title track for the 2025/26 Premier League season and beyond.

Originally taken from their Number 1 album, Happenings, Serge has rewritten and remixed the track specifically for Sky Sports. With Kasabian collaborating with the up-and-coming artist, Cristale, to create an upbeat, anthemic new track. It welcomes fans to the Premier League on Sky Sports.

No strangers to football on Sky Sports, the indie rock band’s iconic Club Foot was the soundtrack to the broadcaster’s intro for the 2009/10 season. Vocalist and frontman, Serge, is also a huge football fan. His beloved Leicester City reached the summit of the English game back in 2015/16.

SERGE PIZZORNO

“It was electric teaming up with the incredibly talented Cristale on this track,” Serge Pizzorno said. “G.O.A.T is all about self-belief and chasing your dreams with everything you’ve got. We’re proud of what this song stands for. This one’s for everyone out there reaching for more, on and off the pitch.”

GARY HUGHES

Gary Hughes, Sky Sports Director of Football, said:

“Music has played a major part in Sky’s football coverage since the very start. It sets the tone and welcomes fans in. We have a long-standing relationship with the band and Club Foot is one of the most recognisable tracks we’ve used, so to be working with Kasabian again is fantastic. It’s the start of our biggest season yet with the Premier League and we feel this the perfect song to kick start it.”

Fans will hear the track live for the first time as part of Sky’s build-up to the opening game of the season. As reigning champions, Liverpool take on Bournemouth at Anfield on August 15.

The game also sees Sky Sports kick off a landmark four-year partnership with the Premier League. It will see a minimum of 215 games shown exclusively live on Sky, that being 80% of all televised matches.

The new deal will also see Sky deliver supersized Super Sundays, expanded content and deeper insight across both linear and news. Product innovation across all platforms will also offer fans a richer, more seamless viewing experience, with more choice than ever before.
