The first look trailer and poster for the Sky Original family film, Grow, starring Golda Rosheuvel and Nick Frost, have been revealed.
Sky has unveiled the first look trailer and poster for GROW. A feel-good Sky Original family film for all ages. Following its World Premiere at this year’s Edinburgh International Film Festival on Saturday, 16th August, the film will premiere on Sky Cinema on 10th October.
Cast members Golda Rosheuvel (Bridgerton). Priya-Rose Brookwell (The Lazarus Project). Dominic McLaughlin (HBO’s upcoming Harry Potter series). Jane Horrocks (Bloods). Jeremy Swift (Ted Lasso) and Scottish director John McPhail (Anna And The Apocalypse) will be in attendance at the festival.
PREMISE
GROW is a heart-warming tale of pumpkins, sabotage, and unlikely family bonds. A no-nonsense farmer in the self-proclaimed ‘Pumpkin Capital of the World’ takes in her estranged niece, Charlie. She decides to enter the local pumpkin-growing competition. As Charlie uses her unusual plant powers to nurture her pumpkin “Peter”, she grows closer to the town, the farm, and her new way of life.

GROW was filmed at multiple locations in Scotland, including Edinburgh, Dalkeith, Pathhead, Culross, Rosyth and Gorebridge.
