Signature Entertainment has shared the first UK trailer for the upcoming animated adventure, Diplo: The Mighty Dinosaur. The film, based on Tadeusz Baranowski’s classic comic books, is bringing dinosaurs to life in cinemas on September 19. But to ensure we are all suitably excited for this charming walk in the park, the studio has peeled back the curtain and invited us to return to the Jurassic period.
In the film, Diplo, a small but courageous young Diplodocus, sets out on a daring quest across time and space when his vibrant jungle home begins to vanish into a strange, colourless void. But can this adorable dinosaur uncover the truth behind the mysterious force stealing his world? Let’s take a look at the trailer below.
SYNOPSIS
Inspired by classic comic books from the 80′s, created by Tadeusz Baranowski – in a world where colour fades and time unravels, one unlikely hero must rise. When his vibrant jungle home begins to vanish into a strange, colourless void, Diplo, a small but courageous young Diplodocus, sets out on a daring quest across time and space. Guided by ancient legends and joined by an unforgettable cast of friends, Diplo must uncover the truth behind the mysterious force stealing their world. As forgotten dimensions awaken, Diplo discovers that even the smallest dinosaur can make the biggest difference.
Starring Pitor Polak (The Man with the Magic Box) and Helena Englert (The Closed Circuit), Diplo: The Mighty Dinosaur is written by Wojtek Wawszczyk (Jez Jerzy) and Tadeusz Baranowski and directed by Wawszczyk.

What a delightful first trailer. Animation is enjoying somewhat of a renaissance in recent years. Several new studios are emerging, and their films are proving to be as culturally significant as they are innovative. Recently, movies like Dog Man, Rebellious, and Dragonkeeper have proven to be incredible additions to the animated genre. With their rich cultural influences and astonishing animation, these movies have redefined what the animated genre can achieve. If Diplo: The Mighty Dinosaur can bring the same energy as these incredible films, then dinosaur fans can look forward to a very special film when it roars into cinemas on September 19.
