RELEASE
What a phenomenal cast. Bringing Street Fighter to life is a daunting challenge. But with this all-star ensemble cast, Legendary, Capcom, and Paramount are pulling out all the stops to make it a faithful adaptation of the classic arcade game. How the game will translate to the screen remains anyone’s guess. After all, despite its impressive cast, the 1995 adaptation was a woeful attempt to bring these characters to the screen. So, the new collaboration between Legendary, Capcom, and Paramount will be hoping for a more authentic approach this time around.
However, with this impressive cast and some incredibly vibrant production value, the film is on course to shoot straight to the top of our Fall watchlist. And that is pretty exciting!
Street Fighter will unleash Hadoukens and roundhouses in cinemas in October 2026.
