For one day only, London’s Piccadilly Circus will be transformed into the Grid to celebrate the release of Disney’s TRON: ARES.
Greetings programs. It’s time to experience TRON: ARES. The marketing for the long-awaited sequel to TRON: Legacy has been moving along at a steady pace in recent weeks. But with just weeks to go until we enter the digital world in glorious IMAX, the studio has upped the ante for the UK. On Thursday, October 2nd, Disney Studios will transform The Venue, Piccadilly, into the electrifying world of TRON: ARES. The studio is inviting fans to step into the digital realm for one unforgettable day.
The legendary central London location will become a pulse-pounding digital frontier, featuring cutting-edge lighting design, immersive soundscapes, and futuristic set pieces. The experience will blur the lines between the real world and the virtual Grid, offering fans the chance to journey deeper into TRON than ever before.
THE EVENT
Visitors will enter through a LED-lit corridor of shifting lights, immersing them into the grid, and allowing them to step into the world of Tron for a one-of-a-kind photo opportunity with the iconic Lightcycle. Visitors will explore the digital space of the grid and experience the NiN soundtrack surround-sound, while the world of TRON comes alive around them. Every element of the installation has been designed to transport guests directly into Disney’s next chapter of the TRON saga.
The TRON: Ares film stars will open the experience on Wednesday 1st October where – for the first time – the red carpet event will take place above the lights at Piccadilly Circus.
The TRON: Ares Immersive Experience will then be open to the public for one day only, on Thursday October 2nd.

SYNOPSIS
TRON: Ares follows a highly sophisticated Program, Ares, who is sent from the digital world into the real world on a dangerous mission, marking humankind’s first encounter with A.I. beings. The feature film is directed by Joachim Rønning and stars Jared Leto, Greta Lee, Evan Peters, Hasan Minhaj, Jodie Turner-Smith, Arturo Castro, Cameron Monaghan, with Gillian Anderson, and Jeff Bridges.
RELEASE
Disney has scheduled the film’s release for October 10th, 2025. The studio famously announced that Nine Inch Nails would compose the soundtrack for the film. Daft Punk famously created a sensational and immersive score for TRON: Legacy, so fans hope Nine Inch Nails can deliver a soundtrack of equal brilliance. Regardless, we can all look forward to another journey into the Grid with TRON, which is an exciting prospect in itself. TRON: ARES takes us back to the Grid on October 10th, 2025.
