Fortnite x Scooby Doo: Scooby and Shaggy Search for Scooby Snacks in Fortnitemares!

Look out, Scooby Doo fans, because Scooby and Shaggy are coming to Fortnite as part of the Fortnitemares 2025 collection!
It’s officially Fortnitemares season in Fortnite, and Scooby-Doo fans have reason to celebrate. Just days after the official trailer revealed our first look at Mystery Inc., Epic Games has dropped details about the first of three What’s New Scooby Doo bundles hitting the item shop over he next few weeks. We have known for some time that Mystery Inc. would be making its debut this season, but until now, no details about the set have been revealed.
Thankfully, all that is about to change, because the first of the bundles has already landed in the item shop. That’s right, the Scooby Doo and Shaggy Rogers set is already available to own in the item shop, and boy, is it impressive. The set features Shaggy, Scooby, a ghost glider, a sandwich pickaxe, a growing burger back bling, a bone pickaxe, a stack of pizzas back bling, two emotes, and the What’s New Scooby-Doo theme as a Jam Track. WHAT’S NEW?
These new skins are based on their appearance in What’s New Scooby-Doo and are a shoo-in to continue the Fortnitemares fun in the wake of the release of Scream’s Ghost Face. But the fun doesn’t end there, because the Mystery Machine vehicle will be making its debut in the item shop on October 14th. The iconic vehicle comes in both original and “Toon” variants, like the characters, and looks very impressive. Check it out below.
FRED, DAPHNE & VELMA
Rounding out the What’s New Scooby-Doo collection on October 18th will be the Fred, Daphne, and Velma set. This deluxe set, like the Shaggy and Scooby version, comes with a treasure trove of cosmetics that will make the collection all the more amazing. But if that isn’t enough to have you reaching for the Scooby Snacks, the map is already brimming with Scooby-Doo inspired add-ons. In addition to Mystery Inc., Scooby Snacks are already appearing on the map, giving players health, a shield, and a burst of speed when consumed.
Considering the accessories included, this set is a deluxe collection, and the cost is expected to reflect that. However, Fortnite always splits the components to make the set more affordable. If you wish to buy the whole set, the bundle will probably save you a few V-Bucks, which is always welcome.
RELEASE
Sadly, Epic Games has not yet confirmed prices for the additional Scooby sets. However, with Scooby and Shaggy already having a blast in the item shop, surely it’s only a matter of time until Epic Games reveals all.
Fortnite players will be eating well with these new skins. But what else does Epic Games have up its sleeve? With a battle pass for The Simpsons looming on the horizon, there’s plenty of room for some Springfield characters to swoop into the shop. Let’s hope for some awesome additions to the Fortnite roster soon.
