They thought he was family. Paramount Pictures presents the official trailer and poster for the Johannes Roberts horror movie.
As I’ve said before, when I was a child, apes scared me. It was all due to seeing the original black and white version of King Kong on TV one evening. Not only did he scare me, but he also had me crying at his tragic death at the end. A famous tea brand used chimps in its advertisements, causing me to suffer from nightmares for several years. The Planet of the Apes franchise made me fear primates in general. Thankfully, I grew out of this fear and now adore them.
That fear could be revisited early next year with the release of the horror movie, Primate. The film, coming from Paramount Pictures, is scheduled for release on January 30th. Directed by Johannes Roberts, who also co-wrote the screenplay, the film features Johnny Sequoyah, Jessica Alexander, and Troy Kotsur. The official trailer and poster for the film have emerged.
