That’s the intriguing premise for the upcoming science fiction thriller, Mercy. The film is scheduled to hit cinemas on January 23rd, 2026. It stars Chris Pratt as the accused. Additionally, Rebecca Ferguson stars as the AI judge. The film looks to be an exciting, engaging, and full-on movie that should draw crowds in. The new trailer for the film has been launched. THE PREMISE
In the near future, a detective (Chris Pratt) stands on trial accused of murdering his wife. He has 90 minutes to prove his innocence to the advanced A.I. Judge (Rebecca Ferguson) he once championed, before it determines his fate.
