Prime Video has released our first look at the upcoming action comedy movie, The Wrecking Crew, starring Jason Momoa and Dave Bautista.
Get ready for a detour to Hawaii, because Prime Video has shared our first look at The Wrecking Crew, the new action comedy starring Jason Momoa and Dave Bautista. In the film, Momoa and Bautista are estranged brothers reunited by their father’s mysterious death. But when they uncover a conspiracy that could split their family apart, the duo set out to discover the truth. But can their fragile relationship handle the strain?
The film sounds like an absolute banger. The project has been written for the screen by Jonathan Tropper, and boasts the directorial vision of Blue Beetle’s Angel Manuel Soto. But before we pack our suitcases, scroll down to view the first-look images.

SYNOPSIS
In this action comedy, two estranged half-brothers, Jonny (Jason Momoa) and James (Dave Bautista) are forced to reunite after their father’s mysterious death. As they set out to uncover the truth, buried secrets resurface and loyalties are tested, unveiling a conspiracy that can tear their family apart. Together, they are ready to WRECK anything that gets in their way. Set in the streets of Hawaii, the film is directed by Angel Manuel Soto (Blue Beetle) and also stars Claes Bang, Jacob Batalon, Stephen Root, and Morena Baccarin.
THE CAST
Angel Manuel Soto has brought together a phenomenal cast to bring this action comedy to the screen. In addition to Momoa and Bautista, the film stars Claes Bang, Jacob Batalon, Frankie Adams, Miyavi, Stephen Root, and Morena Baccarin. Rounding out the all-star cast is Star Wars legend Temuera Morrison. If that isn’t enough, the production team is rounded out by Matt Reeves, who serves as a producer.

RELEASE
I don’t know about you, but I’m fully on board for this film. From its exceptional cast to its incredible array of talent behind the camera, The Wrecking Crew has all the hallmarks of an instant classic and could be the perfect way to kickstart a brand new year. Jason Momoa is on a roll right now after his success with Apple TV’s Chief Of War and will return to the big screen this summer in DC’s Supergirl. So, get ready for an early 2026 trip to Hawaii, because I have a feeling this will be a trip well worth the wait!
