Directed by Baz Luhrmann and featuring long thought lost footage, EPiC: Elvis Presley In Concert rocks out an official trailer and poster!
Do you remember where you were the day Elvis Presley died? I do. It’s a memory that will never fade. As a youngster, Elvis was, and still is, the king. Over the years, there have been hundreds, if not thousands, of movies, documentaries and music specials devoted to Elvis and his legacy. Some have been excellent, and some have been good. Others have been made to trade on his name. The best movies about Elvis include John Carpenter’s Elvis: The Movie, starring Kurt Russell as the king. Also, Baz Luhrmann’s recent Elvis, featuring Austin Butler as Elvis, stands out. But now, something special is coming to cinema screens.
Coming in February, Baz Luhrmann presents EPic: Elvis Presley In Concert. You’d be mistaken for thinking this is just another documentary about the legendary music star. It Isn’t. It is something that fans have been dreaming of for over forty years. This is something new, neither a concert film nor a documentary. Luhrmann has painstakingly discovered and restored over 45 minutes of footage and sound that were long thought lost forever. In the film, Elvis sings and tells his story like never before. Take a look at the official trailer for the film below:
PREMISE
Elvis sings and tells his story like never before in a new cinematic experience from visionary filmmaker Baz Luhrmann.
The film will have its first advanced U.S. screenings at Presley’s former mansion, Graceland, on January 8, 2026, which would have been his 91st birthday. It will then have a one-week engagement exclusively in IMAX starting on February 20th, before opening in cinemas worldwide beginning February 27th.

This is exciting news for all Elvis fans around the world. The film runs for 100 minutes, but it will be 100 minutes that we will all lap up. I’m already planning to grab my ticket to see it in IMAX for the best possible sound. This could be the musical movie event of 2026, something we may never see the likes of again. With his track record, Baz Luhrmann knows how to take care of business, and may be giving us something that will truly leave us All Shook Up.
THE OFFICIAL POSTER
