From the executive producers of Stranger Things and the director of Baby Reindeer, Netflix reveals the first look at Something Very Bad Is Going To Happen.
If we know something very bad is going to happen, why do we feel so good about it? That is the intriguing premise for the upcoming Something Very Bad Is About To Happen. The Duffer Brothers, executive producers of Stranger Things, and Weronika Tofilska, director of Baby Reindeer, worked together on this. Moreover, the horror drama series is created by Haley Z. Boston.
The upcoming horror series will star Camila Morrone (Daisy Jones & The Six, The Night Manager) and Adam DiMarco (The White Lotus, Overcompensating) as the bride and groom. The series is set for release on Netflix on March 26th.

THE SERIES PREMISE
SOMETHING VERY BAD IS GOING TO HAPPEN is an atmospheric horror series set at a wedding, focusing on a bride and groom during the week leading up to their ill-fated nuptials. The ominous title makes it clear that trouble is brewing long before the ceremony. looms ahead. That’s not a spoiler – just read the title.
“I love horror. It’s natural to me, [it’s how] I process my own emotions and feelings and my own understanding of the world,” Boston shares. “I think horror allows you to explore taboo feelings and take all of these fears and give them some bite.”
The show isn’t about jump scares. Rather, as Boston puts it, the tone is
“unsettling, getting-under-your-skin dread,” mixed with character-driven storytelling. “I love to explore characters. I think sometimes that’s lacking in the horror genre,” she says. “My natural approach is from a place of character and dialogue and humour and then infusing that with unsettling horror … I’m like, ‘I want to be unsettled. I want to be freaked out.’ ”
