ABOUT THE X FACTOR
The X Factor started in the United Kingdom in 2004, with a judging panel which consisted of Simon Cowell, Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh for the first four series. After Sharon Osbourne left the panel, she was replaced by Dannii Minogue, later to be joined by Girls Aloud singer, Cheryl. After 15 series, in 2019, it was announced that the show would be rested due to declining ratings. In 2021, it was announced that ITV had no plans to make another series, effectively cancelling the programme. The format travelled across the world, with 16 countries making their own versions of the show, including the United States and Spain.

The Sky original series will premiere at a later date.
