The series premieres on Monday, 16th February, on Crime+Investigation and sounds like a sensational slice of true crime that will keep viewers on the edge of their seats. As the nights get colder and wetter, this new series is the perfect tonic to scratch that true crime itch that crime lovers are looking for. But what can we expect from the show? Check out the full reveal below.

SYNOPSIS
Just before midnight in May 2021, Daniel Boulton leaves his hostel in Skegness and begins a 28-mile march to the home his ex-girlfriend Bethany Vincent shares with her two young sons. Bethany’s family tell the story of how this loving mother-of-two started a relationship with Daniel Boulton with no idea of his violent, criminal past.
There is a further tragedy in this case, revealed by retired homicide detective Russell Wate. His investigations reveal that parole officers, the police, health services and other agencies were aware of Boulton’s past and deteriorating behaviour – but failures in multi-agency communication and risk management meant they were unable to keep Bethany and her family safe.
Through interviews with Bethany’s mum, dad and sister, plus revelations of both Russell Wate and Boulton’s prosecuting barrister Katherine Goddard KC, Skegness Psycho: 28 Miles to Murder reveals the tragic story.
