THE UK TOP-SELLING TITLES

This week sees one new entry and one re-entry into the chart placings. But what could they be, where have they entered, and could one be the brand-new number-one title this week? It is time for us to find out.

(1) ZOOTROPOLIS 2

Making an immediate impact on release, Zootropolis 2 hops straight into the Number 1 position. Reuniting audiences with Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde, the sequel expands the bustling mammal metropolis with new districts, new species and a fresh mystery that tests their partnership. Packed with sharp humour, inventive world-building and timely themes, the film marks a triumphant return to the beloved animated universe.

(2) SINNERS

After an exceptional 34 weeks on the chart, Sinners eases into Number 2 following its long-awaited spell at the summit. The dark thriller stars Michael B. Jordan in a dual role as twin brothers seeking escape from their violent pasts, only to uncover a far greater evil waiting back home. Its slow-burn tension and moral complexity continue to resonate.

(3) ONE BATTLE AFTER ANOTHER

Climbing further into the upper ranks, One Battle After Another secures Number 3. The film follows Bob, a washed-up revolutionary who lives in a state of stoned paranoia, surviving off-grid with his spirited and self-reliant daughter, Willa.

(4) 28 YEARS LATER

(5) WICKED: FOR GOOD

Now positioned at Number 5, Wicked – For Good remains a major force. The musical sequel deepens the consequences of Elphaba and Glinda’s choices, pushing Oz toward political and emotional upheaval through darker themes, expanded mythology and powerful musical sequences.

Remaining firmly in play at Number 8, Dracula sustains its gothic atmosphere. This modern retelling leans into psychological horror and tragic romance, examining obsession, immortality and isolation through moody visuals and slow-building dread.

(9) DOWNTON ABBEY: THE GRAND FINALE

A notable climber places Downton Abbey – The Grand Finale at Number 9. The elegant farewell to the Crawley family delivers emotional resolutions, refined period drama and a sense of closure that honours the legacy of the long-running series.

(10) THE RUNNING MAN

Glen Powell stars in Paramount Pictures’ “THE RUNNING MAN.”

UNTIL NEXT WEEK

And that is this week’s top ten chart. Next week, we could see a strong showing from Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson with their acclaimed movie Song Sung Blue, which debuted on PVOD this week. Could they sing their way to the top, or will Zootropolis 2 manage to hold onto the chart summit? You know what to do. So, until next time…

Whatever you decide, whatever you buy, stay safe, be kind, look after each other, and happy viewing!!
