What's Showing On Sky And NOW In March: Its Saturday Night Live UK With Ted And Nobody 2!

It is time to say farewell to the cold as we welcome Spring. Saturday Night Live UK, Ted season 2, and Nobody 2 are on Sky and NOW this March.

Say goodbye to those long, cold nights and spring into a new season on Sky. Start with the show that’s got everyone talking… Saturday Night Live UK makes its highly anticipated debut on Sky One. And Thunder Buddies unite! We’re heading back to Boston, 1994. It’s for a second season with the tubby, stuffed and usually baked bear Ted.

We’ve also got the pick of new shows from the US, including DTF St. Louis starring Jason Bateman and David Harbour, Rooster with Steve Carell, and the final series of The Comeback created by and starring Lisa Kudrow. Meanwhile, over on Sky Cinema, don’t email Bob Odenkirk when his out of office is on. That’s because it’s Nobody 2.

Saturday Night Live UK

Live from London, it’s Saturday Night!

Broadcast live each week, this brand new UK edition of the long-running US sketch comedy variety show brings the high-wire, anything-can-happen energy that makes SNL a cultural force. It is now reimagined through a distinctly British lens. In addition, a new guest host will take the helm each week. They will put their distinctive stamp on the SNL formula alongside a chart-topping musical guest.

Written, rehearsed and performed in the week of each show, every episode is staged in front of a live studio audience and features an opening monologue. It also contains topical sketches, live music, and a UK take on SNL’s iconic news satire, Weekend Update.

Ted – Season 2

It’s 1994, and the senior year of high school is underway for Ted the foul-mouthed teddy bear and his best friend, likeable but awkward John Bennett. Together they live in a working-class Boston home with John’s parents (Matty and Susan) and cousin (Blaire). Matty is a blustering, blue-collar Bostonian who sees himself as the unequivocal boss of the house. He doesn’t like anyone challenging him, particularly his liberal-minded niece. Also, Susan is kind, selfless, and almost pathologically sweet when it comes to caring for her family. Blaire is an outspoken college student who often finds herself at odds with her more traditional-minded relatives.

Brilliant yet controversial, Ligas fights Milan’s most desperate cases alongside his idealistic intern Marta. Together, they seek justice while confronting his own shortcomings. A Sky Italia Original starring Luca Argentero (Eat, Pray, Love).
