Next week on Sky and NOW, Rooster begins to crow, The Manchurian Candidate returns, and Materialists brings the love and the laughs.
It is yet another great week on Sky and NOW next week. The highlights for the week include the return of Steve Carell in the comedy series, Rooster. The classic thriller The Manchurian Candidate gets a special screening, while Materialists is the big premiere on Sky Movies. The Manchurian Candidate (1962)
Sky Arts presents a special screening of the classic 1962 thriller starring Frank Sinatra, Laurence Harvey, James Edwards, Janet Leigh and Angela Lansbury. Near the end of the Korean War, a platoon of U.S. soldiers is captured by communists and brainwashed. Following the war, the platoon returns home, and Sergeant Raymond Shaw (Harvey) is lauded as a hero by the rest of his platoon. However, the platoon commander, Captain Bennett Marco (Sinatra), finds himself plagued by strange nightmares and, together with fellow soldier Allen Melvin (Edwards), races to uncover a terrible plot.
