Prime Video has unleashed the final blood-soaked, brutal trailer for The Boys Season 5 and promises to be an all-timer! After the events of the last season and the hijinks of Gen V season 2, all-out war seems inevitable. As Homelander’s dictatorship descends into barbarism, it’s time for someone to take a stand – and Billy Butcher is always up for one last fight!
The new trailer shows Billy reuniting his team for one last mission as the star-spangled dictator continues his plan to take over the world. With Homelander seemingly taking control of the Oval Office and becoming President of the United States, he now appears unstoppable. But of course, desperate times call for desperate measures, and Butcher, armed with his new superpowers, is ready to challenge anyone. HOMELANDER UNLEASHED
What a brutal trailer! The biggest takeaway is Homelander reuniting with his father, Soldier Boy (played by Jensen Ackles), as he takes control of the Oval Office. There’s also a special appearance by Jared Padalecki, Ackles’s former on-screen brother from the hit television show Supernatural. However, perhaps the most shocking moment features Homelander brutally pummeling a helpless victim into the ground in a blood-splattered rampage. Could this be a member of The Boys finally facing his wrath? Or have The Deep (Chace Crawford) and A-Train (Jessie T) taken their deception to a new level, provoking Homelander’s fury? All will be revealed soon.

In addition to the brutal final trailer, Prime Video also shared two new posters for the final season. The first features Billy Butcher and The Boys fully assembled and ready for a fight at the base of Vought Tower. The second features Homelander and his gang of Supes at the pinnacle of Vought Tower. With Karl Urban recently teasing that “anyone is fair game” in the final season of The Boys, the trailer has doubled down on that threat. The final season won’t be taking any prisoners, and every member of the cast has a target on their back. But with Homelander now sitting at the head of his totalitarian authority, and Billy Butcher’s resistance willing to sacrifice themselves for the cause, who will emerge victorious? Or will the final battle be one nobody walks away from? All will be revealed when the final season hits Prime Video next month.
