Look out, Straw Hats fans, because war is coming in ONE PIECE: The Battle of Alabasta. The third season is now set to arrive on Netflix in 2027.
Get ready, One Piece fans, because in Season 3, the Straw Hats will be swapping the Grand Line for Alabasta. With the landmark second season now fading into the distance, Netflix has pulled back the curtain on Season 3. And boy, does it sound like a banger!
Now officially titled One Piece: The Battle of Alabasta, the series will follow on from this year’s hugely successful second season, One Piece: Into the Grand Line, and will see Monkey D. Luffy, Princess Vivi, and the rest of the Straw Hats continue their fight to save her embattled homeland. Check out the title reveal below.
SEASON 3
In Season 3, a rebellion “threatens to tear the nation apart, fueled in secret by one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, the ruthless Sir Crocodile, and his underground syndicate Baroque Works, who seek to conquer Alabasta for themselves,” the logline reads. “In a season defined by unbreakable bonds and impossible choices, the Straw Hats must face a brewing civil war and a powerful warlord to save Vivi’s kingdom before it crumbles into the sand.”
Formidable new enemies and brand-new worlds await in this upcoming installment, in which the stakes are the highest they’ve ever been.

THE CAST
All the Straw Hats are coming back, including Iñaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy, Mackenyu as Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Jacob Romero as Usopp, and Taz Skylar as Sanji. They’ll be joined by returning Season 2 cast members Charithra Chandran as Princess Vivi, Mikaela Hoover as Tony Tony Chopper, Joe Manganiello as Mr. 0, Lera Abova as Miss All Sunday, and Sendhil Ramamurthy as Alabasta King Nefertari Cobra.
What’s more, the streamer has also confirmed that we’ll be seeing a lot more of these new heroes. Hoover, Manganiello, Abova, and Ramamurthy have all been upped to series regulars for the third installment. Additional cast members boarding Season 3 include Cobra Kai’s Xolo Maridueña as Portgas D. Ace and Cole Escola (the Tony Award–winning star of the Broadway play Oh, Mary!) as theatrical assassin Bon Clay.
Rounding out the cast are Daisy Head (Shadow and Bone, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves), who will join the cast as Baroque Works agent Miss Doublefinger, along with Awdo Awdo (Upcoming: Subversion) as Mr. 1. So get ready for a stacked adventure when the third season sets sail on the streamer sometime in 2027.
