Fresh off the heels of performing at Coachella, Laufey is bringing her genre-defying sound to Fortnite Festival. The Fortnite x Laufey pass is here!
Look out, music fans, because the Fortnite x Laufey collaboration has been revealed. We’ve known for some time that the GRAMMY Award-winning artist had been lined up as the next Fortnite Festival Icon. But today, Epic Games has officially pulled the trigger and revealed the collaboration in all its Jazz/Pop glory. Check out the trailer below.
Starting April 16, players can match Laufey’s captivating style, incredible vocal abilities, and romantic-vintage aesthetic with new ways to perform and the Season 14 Emberlight Music Pass. Included for all Fortnite Crew members, the all-new Music Pass immediately grants the White Dress Laufey Outfit, with progression unlocking Laufey-themed instruments, Auras, the “Madwoman” Jam Track, and the Golden Era Laufey Outfit. Both Outfits are inspired by original looks designed by Bode for Laufey’s “A Matter of Time” tour!
 A NEW SENSATION
That’s right, players will be able to play as the star in her White Dress outfit right after downtime. But that is just the tip of the iceberg. Laufey will be getting the full Festival Pass treatment, packed with themed accessories and cosmetics, to make her set the sensation it deserves to be. If that isn’t enough, she’ll also be bringing her musical magic to the item shop with a sensational bundle designed to unleash the music in Battle Royale. So get ready for a new Festival season packed with Laufey’s signature jazz/pop touch! But let’s not get ahead of ourselves and get shot in the heart with Cupid’s Arrow! THE FESTIVAL PASS
As mentioned at the top of the article, the Season 14 Emberlight Music Pass, included for all Fortnite Crew members, grants immediate access to the White Dress Laufey Outfit. Progressing through the pass unlocks Laufey-themed instruments, Auras, and the “Madwoman” Jam Track. The final tier of the pass features the Golden Era Laufey Outfit.
ITEM SHOP DROPS
The Item Shop will also feature the Lover Girl Laufey Outfit (inspired by Laufey’s Valentino look in her viral “Lover Girl” music video), Mei Mei the Bunny Back Bling, and Jam Tracks and Emotes for “Lover Girl” and “Tough Luck”.
NEW VOCALS
With Mic Vocals, sing along in real time with any microphone that works in Fortnite on PC and Console, and with Pro Drums, plug in a Rock Band 4 or compatible MIDI drum kit to make the drum highway feel even more real.
Want to break away from the mic stand? You can now walk around and shift positions freely in the Jam Ring while you play. The new Quick Mix UI helps you quickly swap or shuffle tracks while jamming for immediate mashups.
