The Magic Is Back This Summer As The First Trailer For Practical Magic 2 Casts A Spell

Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman return as the Owens sisters alongside Joey King in the first trailer for the Warner Bros sequel. The sequel is Practical Magic 2.

The magic is back again this summer as the Owens sisters return after a 28-year hiatus. Coming to screens on September 11th is the long-awaited and long-gestating sequel, Practical Magic 2. The sequel is directed by Susanne Bier. The screenplay was written by Akiva Goldsman and Georgia Pritchett. It is based on the 2021 novel The Book of Magic by Alice Hoffman. The film sees the return of Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman as Sally Owens and Gillian Owens, respectively. Stockard Channing and Dianne Wiest also return in the film as the pair’s aunts, Frances Owens and Bridget “Jet” Owens. Additionally, Joey King has joined the cast as Kylie Owens, Sally’s daughter. The first trailer for the film has arrived to cast a spell.

THE PREMISE

Starring Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman, Practical Magic 2 returns to a world steeped in moonlit mischief and powerful ancestral magic. The Owens sisters must confront the dark curse. It threatens to unravel their family once and for all in a must-see cinematic event of fun, magic, and mayhem.

BEHIND THE CAMERAS

Director Susanne Bier directs the project, from a screenplay by Akiva Goldsman and Georgia Pritchett, based on the novel entitled The Book of Magic by Alice Hoffman.

Denise DiNovi, Sandra Bullock, and Nicole Kidman produced the film, while Andrew Kosove, Broderick Johnson, Donald Sabourin, and Alice Hoffman served as executive producers.
