‘Tis I, again! Are you ready to investigate a new mystery with Enola Holmes?
After a stellar pair of hit movies on Netflix, Millie Bobby Brown is back as the teenage sister of the already-famous Victorian-era detective Sherlock Holmes this July. Enola Holmes 3 is heading our way on July 1st. Additionally, Louis Partridge, Himesh Patel, Sharon Duncan-Brewster, Henry Cavill, and Helena Bonham Carter also return to the fold. This is for the third adaptation of The Enola Holmes Mysteries by Nancy Springer.
The film is directed by Philip Barantini, stepping in for Harry Bradbeer. Jack Thorne is back to write the screenplay, continuing from the first two movies. Aaron May and David Ridley are providing the score this time. They are taking over from Daniel Pemberton, who scored the previous films. The first look images of the film are now revealed.
THE PREMISE
Adventure chases detective Enola Holmes to Malta, where personal and professional dreams collide on a case more tangled and treacherous than any she has faced before.
Clue-sniffing and romance on the beach? The first-look photos suggest that our favorite detective is gearing up for another thrilling adventure.

Lead actress Millie Bobby Brown has spoken about the new film and her acting alongside Louis Partridge as Tewkesbury:
“What I love about this chapter is that Enola is stepping into a version of herself that feels much more defined but still evolving. She’s built something for herself, which is amazing, but she’s also questioning what she wants next, and I think that’s something so many people can relate to.”
“Working with Louis [Partridge] has been such a huge part of what makes these films feel special. There’s a comfort and an ease between us now that you can’t really fake, and it just comes from years of working together and supporting each other. What’s been really nice is getting to explore a more mature version of Enola & Tewkesbury’s relationship. It’s not just playful anymore; it has real weight to it. We trust each other a lot, which means we can take more risks and really lean into the emotional side of their story.”
