Marvel’s VisionQuest Sets October Release Date

Marvel's VisionQuest Sets October Release Date

Marvel Studios has announced that the long-awaited VisionQuest series will premiere on Disney+ this October!

At long last, Marvel Studios has committed to a release window for Paul Bettany’s VisionQuest. The long-awaited, long-gestating live-action series has been in developmental hell for some time. But at Disney’s Upfront presentation, Bettany took to the stage to announce that the series will finally premiere on Disney+ on October 14.

During the event, Bettany was on hand to guide the assembled audience through some juicy new footage. The footage featured Bettany’s Vision in his human form, watching memories from his old life. James Spader also returned as Ultron to taunt Vision, and he appeared in human form as well. In addition to Bettany and Spader, VisionQuest also features Todd Stashwick as Paladin and Faran Tahir as Raza, the Ten Rings leader seen in Iron Man.

RELEASE

Filming began by March 2025 at Pinewood Studios in London, with Christopher J. Byrne, Gandja Monteiro, Vincenzo Natali, and Matalas directing episodes. Filming finally wrapped up in July 2025; however, the series has been stuck in the Marvel development machine ever since. But at long last, it looks like we can finally see some light at the end of the tunnel.

Terry Matalas is officially attached to the series as the showrunner, with Mick Giacchino providing the soundtrack. The series is designed to bookend the WandaVision storyline in the MCU. Whether or not the series can live up to the standard set by WandaVision remains to be seen. However, with Paul Bettany returning as White Vision and James Spader back as Ultron, the show sounds unmissable. And that is exciting enough for us to tune in!

VisionQuest premieres on Disney+ on October 14.
