Fortnite delivers a treasure trove of awesome new content this week. This includes a new Pen and Ink style for Batman and The Mandalorian, and the return of Grogu!
It’s time for our weekly check-in with the team at Fortnite to find out what’s coming to the game this week. With the new Game of Thrones, Toy Story, The Clone Wars, and Overwatch collaborations now in the bag, Epic Games is delivering a treasure trove of new content this week to keep us all entertained. And boy, does this week deliver! With a selection of juicy new collaborations, skins, and sidekicks releasing throughout the week, and a new vehicle racing onto the map, Fortnite is definitely the place to be in May. So get ready to update your roster, because this week’s drops are phenomenal.
NEW RELEASES
After unleashing the massive Overwatch collaboration, one can be forgiven for thinking that Epic Games would be easing back on the big releases, but you’d be dead wrong. Fortnite’s curated catalog of releases this week is a Star Wars and DC fan’s dream. The game is practically pleading with us to abandon our weekend plans with new releases like ‘Pen and Ink’ versions of The Mandalorian and Batman, as well as a new BDX Droid Sidekick. The item shop is getting a major Star Wars injection to celebrate the release of The Mandalorian and Grogu in cinemas, so be ready to feel the Force.
But if that isn’t enough to have you charging your controller and ordering in the pizzas, this week will see the return of Grogu, new Hippo Stomper kicks, and the Crimson Desert collaboration. Rounding out the big new releases is the Sisters of the Heart bundle. Sounds like a banger of a week, right?
RETURNING CLASSICS
But thankfully, the fun doesn’t end there. This week will see the return of some of Fortnite’s biggest skins. So, grab your snacks and settle in for a week full of awesomeness in Fortnite. Here’s what’s coming and when!
- May 20 → Batman (Pen and Ink)
- May 21 → The Mandalorian (Pen and Ink), BDX Droid Sidekick, Grogu (Backbling)
- May 22 → Sisters of the Heart
- May 26 → Crimson Desert, Hippo Stompers
LOOKING AHEAD
What a wonderfully enticing list of new skins, sidekicks, and vehicles for us to explore! The game has cemented itself as the home of incredible pop culture collaborations alongside its original content. We cannot wait to dive into this haul of treats. From the new Mandalorian and Batman ‘Pen and Ink’ skins to the Crimson Desert bundle, collaborations are carrying the game again this week. But with Masters of the Universe headed our way in June, there is a treasure trove of new content coming to the map. Be ready!
In the meantime, with Fortnite now available on Google Play, there has never been a better time to enjoy the game with your friends. Just brace yourself for the V-Bucks changes. I’ll see you out there!
