Fortnite x Star Wars: New Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano Skins From The Clone Wars Revealed!

Look out, Star Wars fans, because Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano from The Clone Wars are landing in Fortnite in time for May 4th Weekend!
Look out, Star Wars Fortnite fans, because the Force is coming to Fortnite this May 4th weekend. The annual Star Wars Day festivities aren’t scheduled to begin until Monday, 4th May. But that hasn’t stopped Fortnite from unleashing the Force a little early this year. Today, Epic Games and Lucasfilm have announced an all-new collaboration that will bring Ahsoka Tano and Anakin Skywalker in their Clone Wars attire to the map.
That’s right, the Jedi Knight and his padawan learner will be igniting their lightsabers and joining the fight on Battle Royale. Although the characters are already available in-game in their live-action styles, these new skins feature the traditional Clone Wars animation style and include additional cosmetics to make your Star Wars Day weekend go out with a bang!
MASTER AND APPRENTICE
Lucasfilm and Epic Games have gone above and beyond with this new set of skins. This set is a premium collection, considering the accessories included, and the cost is expected to reflect that. However, Fortnite will always split the components to make the set more affordable. Sadly, Epic Games hasn’t revealed the price structure of these skins, but we’ll post them here as soon as they become available.
In the meantime, according to the press release, the skins come with new back blings and new pickaxes. Anakin, for example, comes with a miniature of his Starfighter as a back bling and a flaming blade as his pickaxe. Ahsoka, on the other hand, comes with a Republic Army backpack back bling and a walking stick pickaxe. But don’t take my word for it. Jump to lightspeed and scroll down to the official images below.

Thankfully, fans won’t have to wait to get their hands on these new skins. These animated Jedi will be available in the item shop tomorrow night, just in time for May 4th weekend. So, you have plenty of time to add these fantastic characters to your collection. What’s more, the arrival of Anakin and Ahsoka is only the opening salvo of Fortnite’s Star Wars-themed releases throughout the month. From tomorrow, a treasure trove of new Star Wars maps will be unleashed, before a new update brings the galaxy far, far away to LEGO Odyssey. Then, as we near the release of The Mandalorian and Grogu, look out for movie-themed watch parties, new Pen and Ink Mando skins, and a special Q&A with Jon Favreau!

That’s right, the month-long celebration of the galaxy far, far away begins here. It seems fitting that the festivities kick off with new skins for The Clone Wars. However, players will be frustrated that the characters coming have already been added in other formats. Force fans have been yearning for Captain Rex, Jango Fett, Count Dooku, and more new faces, so the notion of adding duplicate characters to their collection will frustrate some pockets. But with Epic promising a slew of new releases throughout May, let’s hope more new characters are waiting in the wings.
