After gaining rave critical reviews for the original documentary, Boyzone: No Matter What, Sky confirms a one-off follow-up, Boyzone: One For The Road.
This summer, Boyzone will reunite for a long-awaited and deeply emotional comeback in two landmark gigs at the Emirates Stadium – a moment many believed would never happen.
After the incredible success of Sky Original Boyzone: No Matter What, the record-breaking three-part documentary reignited global affection for one of pop’s most iconic boy bands. As a result, Sky today confirmed a follow-up one-off documentary, One for the Road. It will take fans behind the scenes as the band prepares to reunite for the very last time.
Against the backdrop of decades of personal history and the pressure of thousands of expectant fans, the band returns carrying unresolved tensions and unfinished business from their final tour in 2019. This time, they want to go out on their own terms and have the send-off that they – and the fans – so badly want.

DOV FREEDMAN AND HAYLEY REYNOLDS
“The response to the series was incredible, breaking records for the Sky Docs team. I think audiences really engaged in a celebrity doc with such raw truth and honesty,” says Exec Producer Dov Freedman. “We’re incredibly privileged to be working with the boys again and telling the story of their final chapter.”
Hayley Reynolds, Head of Documentary Commissioning, Sky, said:
“Boyzone: No Matter What sparked an extraordinary outpouring of love for the band, and we’re thrilled to be working with Curious again to document this landmark reunion — something that may never have happened had the boys not approached telling their story with such honesty and candid testimony.”
Warm, funny, raw, and revealing. One For The Road is a story of friendship, forgiveness, aging, and legacy. And of the enduring bond between Boyzone and the fans who have stood by them through every chapter.
BEHIND THE DOCUMENTARY
Boyzone: One for the Road is produced by Curious Films and directed by Caroline Sciama. Dov Freedman and Charlie Russell take on the roles of executive producers. Boyzone: One for the Road comes to Sky and NOW later this year.
