Supergirl, Lobo, and Krypto lead the cast in the first character posters for DC Studios’ Supergirl.
With just under a month to go until Supergirl swoops into cinemas around the world, DC Studios has dropped five new character posters from its blockbuster film. We’ve already seen several new posters featuring the Girl of Steel. But today’s drop highlights the other heroes that will help continue laying the foundations of the new DCU.
Although Superman isn’t included in this poster drop, we are introduced to the characters that will carry this new chapter forward. From Jason Momoa’s Lobo to Krem of the Yellow Hills, the main cast is all here. And rounding out the team of heroes is Kara’s lovable companion, Krypto the Super Dog! Check them out below.

SYNOPSIS
When an unexpected and ruthless adversary strikes too close to home, Kara Zor-El, aka Supergirl, reluctantly joins forces with an unlikely companion on an epic, interstellar journey of vengeance and justice.
DC Studios heads Peter Safran and James Gunn are producing the film, which is based on characters from DC, Supergirl based on characters created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. The film is executive produced by Nigel Gostelow, Chantal Nong Vo and Lars P. Winther. Behind the camera, Gillespie is joined by director of photography Rob Hardy, production designer Neil Lamont, editor Tatiana S. Riegel, costume designers Anna B. Sheppard and Michael Mooney, Visual Effects Supervisor Geoffrey Baumann, music supervisor Susan Jacobs and composer Claudia Sarne.
THE CAST
Supergirl features Milly Alcock as Kara Zor-El / Supergirl, with Matthias Schoenaerts playing Krem of the Yellow Hills, Eve Ridley as Ruthye Marye Knoll, David Krumholtz portraying Zor-El, Supergirl’s father, and Emily Beecham as Alura In-Ze, her mother. Former Aquaman star Jason Momoa will take on the role of Lobo, an alien mercenary and bounty hunter from Czarnia. Yet, the highlight of the cast is undoubtedly Kara’s cherished dog Krypto, known for causing all sorts of trouble, following his exciting debut in Superman.

These posters are glorious and effortlessly up the ante for DC’s biggest film of the year so far. So dust off your cape and get ready to embrace Kara’s debut in the newly minted DC Universe.
