From Batman: Caped Crusader Season 2 to blockbuster movie premieres, discover the biggest titles streaming on Prime Video this July.
It’s time for our monthly check-in with Prime Video to see what’s arriving in July 2026. With June’s heatwave now behind us, the streamer is rolling out a fresh wave of entertainment to help viewers make the most of those warm midsummer evenings. And there is plenty to look forward to.
July’s lineup features an exciting mix of new releases, returning favorites, and a packed schedule of live sports, giving subscribers no shortage of reasons to tune in throughout the month. So, whether you’re searching for your next binge-worthy series, a blockbuster film, or must-watch sporting action, now is the perfect time to update your watchlist. Let’s take a closer look at everything coming to Prime Video this July.
NEW RELEASES
After delighting Marvel fans with the debut of Spider-Noir, you might be forgiven for thinking that Prime Video would be taking its foot off the accelerator. Thankfully, that couldn’t be further from the truth. The streamer’s July lineup is packed with fresh entertainment, offering subscribers another strong month of original programming and highly anticipated releases.
Leading the charge are new titles such as Elle and Ride or Die, both of which add even more variety to an already impressive summer slate. However, for many viewers, the biggest attraction may be a return to Gotham City in Batman: Caped Crusader Season 2. The first season delivered a gripping exploration of Gotham’s criminal underworld, earning praise for its stylish animation and noir-inspired storytelling. If the latest trailer is any indication, the second season is poised to raise the stakes even further, promising darker mysteries, greater dangers, and another thrilling chapter for the Dark Knight.
AVAILABLE TO RENT OR BUY
But the excitement doesn’t stop there. July also brings a wave of major digital releases, giving subscribers the chance to catch up with some of the year’s biggest cinematic successes from the comfort of home. The month starts with Universal’s exciting animated sequel, The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, a film our reviewer called “a brilliant follow-up to the brilliant first film!” And wrapping up the month’s big releases is Steven Spielberg’s absolutely breathtaking sci-fi extravaganza, Disclosure Day. We had an early look at Spielberg’s triumphant return to the sci-fi sandbox and rated it as one of the year’s best films so far.
FLAWLESS SPIELBERG!
In our review of Disclosure Day, our reviewer, Carl Roberts, said: “Although it isn’t Steven Spielberg’s masterpiece, Disclosure Day is a welcome return to the science fiction sandbox for the master director. It is a film that cannot be explained in a simple review; it demands to be seen. All the moving parts slowly combine into a science fiction/ conspiracy thriller/ fantasy movie that has the audience on its toes, rooted to their seats, and mesmerized by what’s on the screen. This is vintage Spielberg, returning to those films we remember from the 70s, 80s, and early 90s. Read his full review here.
So, grab your snacks and settle in for a month full of fresh entertainment on Prime Video!
