NEW RELEASES
After unleashing new episodes of Power Book III: Raising Kanan, you might expect MGM+ to ease off the big releases—but you’d be wrong. Far from slowing down, the streamer’s carefully curated July lineup arrives like a burst of midsummer heat, packed with fresh content designed to keep viewers firmly on the sofa.
This month continues with the season finale of Power Book III: Raising Kanan S5, but the real headline is an expansion of its crime-focused slate. If you’re after tense, late-night viewing, the all-new drama The Westies is ready to deliver. Set against the gritty backdrop of 1980s New York, it explores the rise of the city’s infamous Irish-American crime organization, bringing a darker, more atmospheric edge to the platform’s summer offerings.
NEW ADDITIONS TO THE MGM+ LIBRARY
But thankfully, the fun doesn’t stop there. MGM+ is rolling out a packed slate of new additions throughout the month, and it’s filled with Hollywood heavyweights. Kicking things off is Ryan Gosling’s Project Hail Mary, followed later in the month by The Nice Guys, a return to The Addams Family, and the classic chaos of The Pink Panther.
If you’re already gearing up for the arrival of the next James Bond era—whoever ultimately steps into the role—MGM+ also has you covered. Throughout July, films from both the Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig eras remain available on the platform, giving viewers the chance to revisit GoldenEye, Tomorrow Never Dies, and Skyfall before the next chapter begins. So grab the snacks, clear the schedule, and settle in—July on MGM+ is shaping up to be a month packed with blockbuster entertainment.

In our glowing FIVE-STAR REVIEW, our reviewer Carl Roberts said: “There are no words that I can say that will adequately convey what lies in store for the audience. This isn’t some mindless spectacle that takes over the big screen with its CGI, big-budget names, and audience-pleasing script. This is a well-constructed project that has been thoughtfully planned, effectively executed, and skillfully delivered. Throughout the film, you can see the dedication, heart, and love that have gone into it. Drew Goddard brings Andy Weir’s novel to life in an epic adaptation that truly showcases what the big screen is all about. This film delivers a larger-than-life experience, offering dazzling visuals and superior entertainment.” Read our full review here.

REVIEW
We had an absolute blast with this phenomenal series. In my FIVE STAR REVIEW, I said: “Jonathan English’s Robin Hood is nothing short of sensational. The series delivers a refreshingly grounded adaptation of the legend, coupled with the trademark swashbuckling the story is famous for. The result is a glorious ten-episode rollercoaster ride that takes us beyond the myth and adds new layers to the man behind the hood. With its glorious cinematography, exceptional production value, winning performances from its leads, and seasoned brilliance of its legacy stars, the series is the definitive adaptation of the source material.
The series makes the most of its nearly 10-hour runtime by thoroughly developing each character within its lore and expanding the legends in rich detail. From Little John to Friar Tuck and the Sheriff of Nottingham to Will Gamewell (aka Will Scarlett), every member of the lore is explored and presented with energetic freshness-and the result is intoxicating.” Read my review here.
