Expanding on one of the most acclaimed stories from Star Wars: Visions, the new series follows Kara’s next chapter and promises to explore a fresh corner of the galaxy far, far away. The newly released trailer sets the stage for the adventure to come, showcasing the series’ striking animation, high-stakes action, and intriguing new mysteries as Kara’s journey unfolds. Fresh from her adventures in Star Wars: Visions, Kara resumes her quest to find her missing father and evade Jedi Hunters in Star Wars: Visions Presents – The Ninth Jedi, a new limited series from Lucasfilm and Production I.G.
Today, the first poster for the series arrived along with the official trailer, first revealed at Anime Expo, which hints at a new dangerous mission about to unfold. The next chapter in a story that began with the fan-favorite “The Ninth Jedi” short from Star Wars: Visions Volume 1, and continued with “The Ninth Jedi – Child of Hope” in Star Wars: Visions Volume 3, Star Wars: Visions Presents – The Ninth Jedi will follow Kara’s newest adventure in a galaxy far, far away.

Alongside the stunning first trailer, the studio has also unveiled the debut poster for the series. Drenched in an eerie green neon glow, the artwork sees the show’s title emerging from the darkness, while its heroine stands silhouetted in the foreground, guided only by the light of her ignited lightsaber. The new footage promises a thrilling continuation of her adventure, while retaining the unique style and spirit that made the original short so memorable. But which side of the conflict does Kara stand on? Is she a beacon of hope? Or an agent of darkness?
With its stunning animation, vibrant color palette, and classic Star Wars action, the series already looks like essential viewing for fans of the galaxy far, far away. Needless to say, it has secured a spot near the top of our late-summer watchlist.
