The Fortnite x The Odyssey Collaboration Has Emerged to Defy the Gods!

Grab your shield and sharpen your sword—it’s time to defy the gods! The Fortnite x The Odyssey collaboration has sailed straight out of Greek mythology and is about to make landfall on the island.
Well, this is a surprise. Epic Games has unveiled an all-new collaboration with Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, and it’s about to make landfall on the Fortnite island. With the epic Greek mythology blockbuster arriving in cinemas this weekend, Epic has teamed up with Universal Pictures to bring the legendary heroes of ancient Greece into the battle royale.
That’s right—players will soon be able to suit up as Matt Damon’s Odysseus and Benny Safdie’s Agamemnon when both Outfits arrive in the Item Shop this weekend. But if you’re eager to jump into the action before then, The Odyssey Cup offers the chance to unlock the Odysseus Outfit early and prove you’re worthy of the gods.

THE ODYSSEY CUP
Both legendary warriors will arrive in style, decked out in battle-ready Roman-inspired armor and accompanied by a host of themed accessories. But what if you can’t wait for the Item Shop release?
Starting today, players can compete in The Odyssey Cup for a chance to unlock movie-inspired cosmetics and exclusive rewards. The highest-performing competitors will even earn the Odysseus Outfit for free, giving them early access to the legendary hero before he officially arrives in the Item Shop. Players will have eleven rounds to rack up as many points as possible, with the best performers unlocking the skin for free.
THE ITEM SHOP
Those who fall short of the required placement will have to wait a little longer, with The Odyssey bundle expected to arrive in the Item Shop this weekend. While Epic Games has yet to announce an official release date, all signs currently point to a Thursday 16th July evening debut—though that’s still speculation until the developer confirms it.
Epic is also keeping quiet on the bundle’s price and the full list of included cosmetics. Even so, judging by what’s been revealed so far, this collaboration is already shaping up to be a must-have for Christopher Nolan fans and Fortnite collectors alike. Watch the official teaser below.

Whether you’re looking to earn the Odysseus Outfit early or are planning to pick up the full bundle when it arrives, there’s plenty for Fortnite fans to look forward to this weekend. With Epic Games continuing to team up with some of the biggest names in entertainment, The Odyssey is another ambitious crossover that brings a legendary story to the battle royale. Now, all that’s left is for Epic to reveal the bundle’s full contents and pricing before players can set sail on their own Greek adventure.
