The Idaho Murders
Parts 1 & 2
In the early hours of November 13, 2022, four University of Idaho students, Ethan Chapin, Madison Mogen, Kaylee Goncalves, and Xana Kernodle, were brutally stabbed to death inside their off-campus home in the quiet college town of Moscow, Idaho. What began as an unthinkable tragedy quickly escalated into one of the most high-profile murder investigations in recent American history.
Weeks later, after authorities found crucial DNA evidence from a knife sheath and CCTV footage of a White Hyundai Elantra, they arrested Bryan Kohberger, a criminology student whose background only deepened the public’s fascination with the case. Charged with the murders and later sentenced to life in prison, his conviction brought a measure of justice, but not closure or answers. Four years on, this series revisits the crime, the investigation, and the lasting impact on the wider community. Through new insights, testimony, and expert analysis, it explores how such a brutal act could happen in such an unassuming, quiet town.
