WHAT’S HOT ON UK HOME ENTERTAINMENT
This week sees a single new entry into the chart. We also have a brand new number one title. What could it be, and what is our single new entry this week? Watch the skies as we find out.

(1) DISCLOSURE DAY
Disclosure Day claims Number 1 on the Official Film Chart this week, rising two places to the summit. After debuting inside the Top 3 last week, the sci-fi event film takes over at the top, bringing blockbuster spectacle to this week’s chart with a story centered on a world-changing revelation and humanity’s place in the universe.

(2) MICHAEL
Michael also enjoys a major climb, rising six places to Number 2. The Michael Jackson biopic continues its impressive home entertainment run, tracing the life, legacy, and musical impact of one of pop’s most influential entertainers, from childhood stardom to global superstardom.

(3) SUPERGIRL
This week’s highest new entry comes from Supergirl, which lands at Number 3. The superhero adventure brings the iconic DC character back to the screen, following Kara Zor-El as she steps into her own power and takes on a new mission beyond the shadow of Superman.

(4) STAR WARS: THE MANDALORIAN AND GROGU
With Disclosure Day rising to the top of the chart, Star Wars: The Mandalorian & Grogu drops from Number 1 to Number 4 after last week’s chart-topping debut.

(5) OBSESSION
Obsession holds steady at Number 5, continuing its strong chart performance. The supernatural horror centers on desire, fixation, and the darker side of longing, as a young man’s wish for the love of his childhood best friend spirals into something far more dangerous.

(6) THE SUPER MARIO GALAXY MOVIE
After last week’s Number 2 placing, The Super Mario Galaxy Movie drops to Number 6. The animated family adventure remains a major home entertainment favorite, following Mario and friends on a colorful cosmic journey packed with action, humor, and Nintendo nostalgia.

(7) THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA 2
Former Number 1 The Devil Wears Prada 2 climbs two places to Number 7. The fashion-world sequel continues to find an audience, returning to the sharp, high-pressure world of Runway magazine with ambition, reinvention, and industry drama at its core.

(8) MORTAL KOMBAT II
Mortal Kombat 2 (2026) drops four places to Number 8, but keeps action firmly represented in this week’s Top 10. The fantasy fighting sequel continues the battle for Earthrealm, bringing brutal tournament combat, fan-favorite warriors, and high-stakes mythology back to the chart.

(9) TROY
Historical epic Troy slips three places to Number 9 following last week’s big return. Starring Brad Pitt as Achilles, the film revisits the legendary Trojan War in a sweeping story of love, loyalty, pride, and conflict.

(10) BACKROOMS
Finally, Backrooms rounds out the Top 10, falling three places after its recent Number 2 debut. The sci-fi horror taps into the internet-born nightmare of endless liminal spaces, following its characters into a strange and unsettling world where familiar environments become distorted, empty, and deeply unnerving.

FANCY A LAUGH WITH SCARY MOVIE?
And that is this week’s official top ten chart. Next week, we may see some comedy hit the chart as Scary Movie is now available to buy on digital platforms. The sixth film in the long-running franchise features the return of the Wayans, both in front of the cameras and as writers. Also featuring the return of Anna Faris to the franchise, the film can be purchased for £13.99 from your preferred digital retailer.

Can Scary Movie manage to scare and rib-tickle Disclosure Day from the top of the chart next week, or will something else take the top spot? You know what to do. So, until next time…
Whatever you decide, whatever you buy, stay safe, be kind, look after each other, and happy viewing!!
