Sky announces that Heated Rivalry will return to Sky and NOW in the Spring of 2027, with new cast additions announced for the new season.
Heated Rivalry, the steamy Sky Exclusive romantic drama based on Rachel Reid’s acclaimed Game Changers book series, will return to Sky and NOW in Spring 2027, exclusively for audiences in the UK and Ireland. Justice Smith, known for I Saw the TV Glow and Now You See Me: Now You Don’t, and Charlie Gillespie from One Night Only and Splitsville, join the cast as Harris Drover and Troy Barrett. They will star alongside Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie, who are also taking on leading roles in the upcoming season.

SEASON ONE
The first season told the story of rival hockey players Shane Hollander (Williams) and Ilya Rozanov (Storrie). Bound by ambition, rivalry , and a magnetic pull neither of them fully understood, what began as a secret fling between two fresh-faced rookies evolved into a years-long journey of love, denial, and self-discovery.

Heated Rivalry comes from Accent Aigu Entertainment in collaboration with Bell Media’s Crave, and Sphere Abacus handles its international distribution. Award-winning Canadian writer-director-producer Jacob Tierney, known for Letterkenny and Shoresy, originally created the series for the Canadian streaming service Crave. Acquired for Sky by Lucy Criddle, Director of Acquisitions and Strategic Projects, and Alexander Wright, Acquisitions Manager.
Heated Rivalry Season 2 will be coming to Sky and streaming service NOW in Spring 2027.
