Victor von Doom contemplates the ramifications of his actions on the latest poster for Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday.
We are just hours away from the launch of Disney’s D23 Expo in California, and the big reveals are already coming thick and fast! First out of the blocks is Marvel Studios, which clearly has no intention of letting fans enjoy a quiet moment before the madness begins.
Ahead of the hotly anticipated Marvel panel, the studio has dropped an all-new poster for the upcoming mega-blockbuster Avengers: Doomsday. We’ve already been treated to a glorious collection of atmospheric posters, but Marvel simply can’t resist throwing another log on the fandom fire. And, frankly, we’re absolutely here for it!
This latest one-sheet puts Doctor Doom front and center once again, although he’s looking considerably more thoughtful this time around. What’s going through that famously twisted mind of his? Is he contemplating the consequences of his actions? Pondering the destruction left in his wake? Maybe he’s reflecting on his assault on the X-Men’s mansion. Or perhaps one of our heroes has already discovered just how painful it is to get on Doom’s bad side! Whatever the answer, Doom looks every inch the imposing, ruthless villain we’ve been waiting for. The man certainly knows how to make an entrance — and apparently how to brood dramatically for a poster! Take a look below.
