It’s time to decrypt the first images from The Terminal List Season 2 at Prime Video. The series returns later this year.
It might be hard to believe, but the first season of The Terminal List premiered almost four years ago. In the time that followed, we’ve enjoyed a reasonably successful spin-off series in Dark Wolf, but as good as Taylor Kitsch-led world-extender was, it couldn’t replace Chris Pratt’s gritty series opener. Well, at long last, a return to the franchise originator is finally around the corner with Prime Video now confirming that the long-awaited second season will be premiering on the streamer on October 21.
What’s more, the second season will be dropping in its entirety, allowing fans to binge the entire season as soon as their hearts desire. Once again, the series is based on the best-selling novels by author Jack Carr; it centers on James Reece, a Navy SEAL commander who battles unknown conspiratorial forces seeking to upend the world order. But what can we expect from the new season when it drops? Take a look at the images below and get ready for the rollercoaster ride to begin!

SEASON 2
The second season is based on Carr’s explosive follow-up novel, True Believer, and promises to take Reece on his most personal mission yet. Having finally completed his list, Reece is left searching for a new purpose—and he’s about to find one in the most violent way possible. His journey soon uncovers a sprawling conspiracy stretching from Moscow all the way to Langley, with the shocking discovery that the web of intrigue is tied to his own family history. Suddenly, this isn’t just another mission. It’s personal.
And if that wasn’t enough, Season 2 is taking Reece on a full-blown globe-trotting adventure. From the Indian Ocean and across Southern and Northern Africa to the Middle East and Europe, our favorite assassin will leave a trail of chaos wherever he goes. Expect plenty of action, plenty of danger, and one very determined James Reece.

REVIEWS
We had a blast with the first season, and we cited Pratt’s performance as his best to date. In my review, I said: “The Terminal List is a bombastic thriller that will have you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. If you were expecting another scathing review of a cheap knock-off, look away now. That won’t be happening here. Instead, allow me to wax lyrical about a thrilling series that serves as the perfect vehicle to help Pratt transcend into a truly outstanding, serious leading man. Forget the smirking, wise-cracking, and larger-than-life action hero. Instead, Pratt delivers a poignant, harrowingly tortured performance that confronts the severity of mental health. All the while whisking us away on an adventure big on action, low on flaws, and oozing with intensity.” Read my full review here.
