Get ready to reload, because the official trailer for Fortnite Override – Chapter 7 Season 4 has emerged from the GameVerse.
Get ready to power up, Fortnite fans, because Chapter 7 Season 4 is about to take players on a wild trip through gaming history! Epic Games has officially unveiled the first trailer for the new season, aptly titled Override, and it looks set to deliver one of the most nostalgia-packed seasons yet.
We’ve known for some time that Epic Games was cooking up a classic gaming-themed Battle Pass, but until now, the full scope of the crossover remained a mystery. Thankfully, that mystery has finally been put to rest, and the first trailer gives players an explosive glimpse at the retro-fuelled chaos heading their way.
From iconic gaming legends like Sonic the Hedgehog and Pac-Man to Crash Bandicoot and Mega Man, Chapter 7 Season 4 is bringing some seriously big names into the Fortnite universe. And if that lineup isn’t enough to have you hammering the Ready Up button, the island itself is getting in on the action, with retro-inspired cosmetics, power-ups, weapons, and plenty of surprises waiting to be discovered. A NEW BATTLE PASS
As that awesome first trailer makes abundantly clear, the Chapter 7 Season 4 Battle Pass is absolutely stacked with gaming icons just waiting to be unlocked. Sadly, at press time, Epic Games is still keeping the full lineup under wraps, so we’ll have to wait a little longer before every surprise is revealed.
That said, the current key art gives us a pretty good idea of which characters could be taking center stage. Take a look at our expected Battle Pass lineup below.
As for where Sonic the Hedgehog, Dr. Eggman, Crash Bandicoot, Pac-Man, Mega Man, and Spyro the Dragon fit into the equation, that remains anyone’s guess. The smart money currently points towards these legendary characters arriving through the Item Shop, but this is Fortnite we’re talking about. Epic Games loves a surprise, so absolutely anything could happen!
A NEW MAP
Judging by this first look, the map appears to be stacked with retro-inspired cosmetics, power-ups, weapons, and plenty of surprises. The Game-Verse Shotgun looks like an absolute blast and should pack a serious punch against unsuspecting opponents, while Mega Man’s Mythic Cannon is shaping up to be another devastating addition to the Fortnite arsenal. With both weapons joining the fray, players are going to have plenty of new ways to send their rivals back to the lobby!
But if there’s one location that has instantly grabbed our attention, it has to be Green Hill Zone. Inspired by the iconic setting from the classic Sonic the Hedgehog games, this could be one of the most exciting areas to explore when Chapter 7 Season 4 goes live. Either way, Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 looks like an absolute banger, and we cannot wait to jump in. Until Epic Games drops the full battle pass reveal, we can only ponder the possibilities.
