Look out, Halloween fans, because the spooky season has just come down with a serious case of the giggles! Lionsgate and the BBC have dropped the first trailer for Ghosts: The Possession of Button House. This film brings the beloved and hilariously chaotic BBC series to the big screen. The spooky new adventure will haunt cinemas across the UK and Ireland from 23 October. Moreover, today, the studios have pulled back the cobweb-covered curtain to give us our first glimpse at the mayhem awaiting us beyond the doors of Button House.

Director Simon Hynd has assembled a fantastic ensemble to bring Ghosts: The Possession of Button House to life. The film welcomes back plenty of familiar faces from the beloved BBC series. The cast includes Mathew Baynton, Simon Farnaby, Martha Howe-Douglas, Jim Howick, Laurence Rickard, Ben Willbond, Lolly Adefope, Charlotte Ritchie, and Kiell Smith-Bynoe.
The screenplay has been penned by series stars Mathew Baynton, Simon Farnaby, Martha Howe-Douglas, Jim Howick, Laurence Rickard, and Ben Willbond, ensuring the movie stays firmly in the hands of the team who know Button House best. Alison Owen, Debra Hayward, Alison Carpenter, and Andy Brunskill serve as producers. Lionsgate will distribute in the UK with Marie-Claire Benson and Emma Berkofsky as Executive Producers. BBC Studios will distribute worldwide, with Richard Acton as Executive Producer.
