The witching hour is almost upon us! The spooky season is near! The ghoulies are coming to get you! Ok, that last one sounds SO wrong! However, Halloween is almost here. Samsung TV Plus is kicking off Halloween season with a new month-long line-up. It spans modern horror, cult classics, supernatural favorites, and paranormal TV. This October, viewers can venture into the woods with The Blair Witch Project. Additionally, they can brave the supernatural with Insidious and Sinister. You can also revisit Christian Bale’s iconic turn as Patrick Bateman in American Psycho. Or, you can work your way through the twisted games of the SAW franchise.
For those looking to make a marathon of it, all five Twilight films are showing this October. Meanwhile, Resident Evil takes over with a full marathon running from now to 1 November. Beyond the movies, Samsung TV Plus is also home to paranormal favorites. These include Most Haunted, Ghost Hunters, Pluto TV Paranormal, and Mystery TV. As a result, you get ghost hunts, paranormal investigations, and unexplained phenomena in the mix.

CHRIS GREGORY
Chris Gregory, Head of Content Development, Samsung TV Plus EMEA, said:
“Halloween is a moment when audiences return to much-loved favourites while also looking for something new to discover. This October, we’re bringing together cult horror, major franchises, supernatural favourites and dedicated paranormal channels, giving viewers even more choice on Samsung TV Plus throughout Halloween season.”
GET READY TO BE SPOOKED!
From The Woman In Black and the SAW franchise, Halloween marathons with Resident Evil and Twilight, through to series that are going beyond the movies, there’s plenty to get chilled with on Samsung TV Plus. Let’s take a look at what lies in store (or the nearest crypt)
THE OCTOBER EDIT
THE WOMAN IN BLACK
Gothic, ghostly and deeply unsettling. Daniel Radcliffe stars as a young lawyer who travels to a remote village. There, a mysterious house is harboring a dark secret. Atmospheric and steeped in supernatural tension, The Woman in Black is made for a dark October night.
INSIDIOUS
A modern supernatural horror favorite. When a family finds itself caught up in increasingly disturbing supernatural events, they are forced to confront mysterious forces threatening their son. Tense, unnerving and packed with jump scares, Insidious has become a modern horror staple.
SINISTER
True crime meets supernatural horror. Ethan Hawke stars as a true-crime writer whose discovery of disturbing home movies draws him into a mystery far darker than the story he set out to investigate.
THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT
The film that made a generation afraid of the woods. Three student filmmakers venture into the wilderness to investigate the legend of the Blair Witch. Only then does their trip take a terrifying turn. More than 25 years after becoming a cultural phenomenon, The Blair Witch Project remains one of horror’s most influential found-footage films.
AMERICAN PSYCHO
Sharp, satirical, and deeply sinister. Christian Bale delivers an iconic performance as Patrick Bateman in American Psycho. Stylish, darkly funny and disturbing in equal measure, the cult classic offers a very different kind of monster for Halloween season.
SAW
The horror franchise that changed the game. The SAW franchise brings its elaborate traps, impossible choices, and psychological horror to Samsung TV Plus this October. More than two decades after the first film arrived, it remains one of modern horror’s most recognizable franchises.

HALLOWEEN MARATHONS
RESIDENT EVIL
Zombies, survival and serious action. From 30 September to 1 November, Sony One Action Hits is running a full Resident Evil marathon. This brings the action-horror franchise to Samsung TV Plus throughout Halloween season.
TWILIGHT – ALL FIVE FILMS
Five films. One supernatural saga. All five Twilight films are showing on Moviesphere by Lionsgate this October, giving viewers the chance to return to Forks and revisit Bella Swan’s supernatural love story from beginning to end. For anyone looking for something lighter between the scares, it’s an easy October marathon.

BEYOND THE MOVIES
For viewers drawn to the paranormal, Samsung TV Plus also offers a dedicated line-up of channels exploring haunted locations, unexplained phenomena and supernatural investigations.
British cult favorite Most Haunted investigates reportedly haunted locations, while Ghost Hunters follows paranormal investigators as they examine reports of unexplained activity.
Pluto TV Paranormal offers dedicated paranormal programming and stories of strange phenomena, while Mystery TV adds more mystery and supernatural entertainment to the lineup.
