The upcoming French-Italian movie, Masterplan, starring Stanley Tucci, follows a legendary thief with his sights on the Mona Lisa. The trailer is here.
Today, Prime Video unveiled the official trailer and poster for Masterplan, offering an exclusive look at its French-Italian Prime Original film, shot in English and starring Academy Award-nominee Stanley Tucci (The Devil Wears Prada, The Lovely Bones, The Hunger Games), breakout stars Simona Tabasco (The White Lotus, season 2) and Victor Belmondo (Bastion 36). Masterplan will be available exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide from 16th October.
THE PREMISE
When a legendary thief sets his sights on the Mona Lisa, he recruits two young strangers to help him – Chiara, a sharp Italian cybercrime expert, and Jay, a swaggering French explosives specialist – before revealing they are long-lost siblings… and oh yes, by the way, he is their father. Thrown into a chaotic reunion they never asked for, this new family must learn to work together – and try not to kill each other – if they want any chance at pulling off the heist of the century.
THE CREW
Thomas Vincent (Reacher, Bodyguard, Versailles) directs Masterplan, co-written with BAFTA-winning screenwriter David Wolstencroft (Spooks, The Escape Artist). Giacomo Durzi, Alessandro Fabbri, Alberto Vignati, Wolstencroft, and Vincent wrote the story. Co-produced by Gaumont and Amazon MGM Studios, the film was shot across multiple locations in France and Italy.
Masterplan will be available exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories from 16th October.
