THE UK TOP TEN BEST-SELLING TITLES

This week, we see two re-entries and one film that rockets up twenty-seven places to take its place in the top ten for the first time. We also have a new number one title. What could these returning and new-to-the-top-ten titles be, and what has taken over the top spot? It isn’t a conspiracy, as we find out.

The Official Film Chart | The UK Top Ten (30th September)

(1) DISCLOSURE DAY

Disclosure Day is back on top of the Official Film Chart, returning to the summit for a second stint after first reaching Number 1 in August. Directed by Steven Spielberg and starring Emily Blunt, Josh O’Connor, Colin Firth, Eve Hewson and Colman Domingo, the sci-fi thriller centers on a world-changing revelation surrounding extraterrestrial life and the people caught in the middle of its disclosure. After spending recent weeks further down the countdown, the film has steadily regained momentum and now reclaims the top spot.

Marlon Wayans, Shawn Wayans, Anna Faris and Regina Hall all return as the franchise once again takes aim at horror sequels, reboots, legacy franchises and everything in between.
