The UK Box Office Top 10 has landed! Who’s ruling the box office, who’s climbing the charts, and who’s been knocked off the throne? Ready to see who made the cut? Let’s roll the credits!
Welcome to The Official UK Box Office Top 10—your home for the latest box office chart and the biggest films lighting up cinemas across the UK. From blockbuster superheroes to magical family favorites and must-see new releases, here’s a look at the movies audiences are flocking to this week.
This weekend saw the re-release of Avengers: Endgame, which drew audiences back to the cinema. But this weekend wasn’t just re-releases and old movies; two new films entered the top ten, with Heart of the Beast clawing for attention and Sense and Sensibility joining the list. Read on to find out how these films did at the UK box office!
(1) Avengers: Endgame Encore
Avengers: Endgame Encore takes the awesomeness of Avengers: Endgame and sprinkles a few post-credits scenes to tease the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday. And, despite Avengers: Endgame releasing seven years ago (wow), the re-release opened to £4,123,123, a similar number to the opening of Resident Evil, and that was a new film on an established IP. So it’s fair to say that this re-release has done well.
(2) Resident Evil
Resident Evil has held well in its second weekend, dropping only 47% from its opening weekend with a total of £2,233,845. That hold isn’t usually seen for horror movies, suggesting audiences enjoyed it.
(3) Heart Of The Beast
David Ayre’s latest movie, Heart of the Beast, starring Brad Pitt and his bestest boy, released this weekend to £2,070,025. That’s more than three times the opening total of Ayre’s last movie, A Working Man, which opened with £658,134 in 2025. For Brad Pitt, his last movie was F1, which unsurprisingly opened higher, but given the stark differences in the films, it’s unreasonable to compare them.
(4) Sense and Sensibility
Sense and Sensibility 2026 is the second time this Jane Austen novel has been adapted for cinemas, and it opened to 1,536,410, a good opening for a film of this type. It follows the Dashwood sisters—Elinor and Marianne—as they navigate love, loss, and financial hardship in 19th-century England.
(5) Shaun The Sheep: The Beast Of Mossy Bottom
Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom fell to number five, with a 45% drop-off in its second weekend to a total of £816,653. Its overall total sits at £2,528,302.
(6) Practical Magic 2
Practical Magic 2 has continued to conjure up UK box office sales, pulling in £773,109 in its third weekend of release. This legacy sequel now has an overall total of £7,046,073.
(7) Pressure
Pressure once again kept its cool at the UK box office, with a total of £577,063 in its third weekend. Its overall total sits at £5,654,995
(8) The Odyssey
The Odyssey continued to put up a terrific box office performance; in its final weeks, the story is that it managed to hang on above Spider-Man: Brand New Day. In its eleventh weekend, it pulled in £365,742, enough for number eight at the UK box office. Its overall total is £86,569,880; unfortunately, it’s unlikely to reach the £90 million mark. But it’s done extremely well despite that.
(9) Spider-Man: Brand New Day
Spider-Man: Brand New Day (BND) pulled in £312,050 in its ninth weekend of release, as people still swing in to see it on the big screen. BND is on the cusp of pulling in an overall total of £100 million, but for now that total is £99,515,590.
(10) Bad Apples
Bad Apples stayed fresh in its second weekend, dropping 46% to £263,135. Its overall total is now £1,080,751.
Next weekend, Tom Cruise’s next movie, Digger, opens in cinemas.
