There’s a new king in town. Get ready, Paramount+ fans, because the Tulsa King universe is about to expand. We’ve known for some time that the world of Dwight Manfredi was about to expand, and the streamer had backed Samuel L. Jackson to take this new section of the sandbox into the future. Today, the team at Paramount+ debuted our first look at this bold new chapter: Frisco King.
In the series, New Orleans gangster Lee Washington lands in Frisco, Texas, and discovers a hustler’s playground hidden beneath the polished surface of American suburbia. And just like in Tulsa, it’s ripe for the taking. With a new crew behind him, Washington sets his sights on domination, meaning Frisco’s new ruler has arrived. Thankfully, we won’t be waiting long to meet the new King on the block. His reign begins December 18 with a two-episode premiere, followed by new episodes every Friday, exclusively on Paramount+. But what can we expect from the series? Scroll down and check out the teaser below.
SYNOPSIS
Written by Taylor Sheridan, Frisco King follows seasoned New Orleans gangster Lee Washington as he lands in Frisco, Texas, and discovers a hustler’s playground hidden beneath the polished surface of American suburbia. Recruiting an ambitious protégé, a loyal driver, and a growing network of eccentric partners, Lee transforms small hustles into big business. But, every new score raises the stakes, and as his influence grows, so do the risks, forcing Lee to stay one grift ahead. Frisco may not know it yet, but its new king has arrived.
