WHAT’S NEW ON TOY ROBOT VIDEO THIS JANUARY
Let’s see what lies in store for us to start the new year off with a bang!
Romeo Must Die
Released on dual format 4K UHD and Blu-ray January 4
The word on the street is… Romeo must die!
Jet Li, in his first English-language lead role, plays the rough-and-ready, ex-cop Han Sing who heads to America to find the truth behind his brother’s mysterious murder. He soon falls for Trish O’Day (the screen debut of singer Aaliyah), even though their families are rivals in a fierce Oakland turf battle. As the pair investigate the real cause of the blood feud, they quickly expose themselves to danger from both sides.
A modern-day action-packed ROMEO AND JULIET told with gravity-warping martial arts action, cool visual effects and an all-star music soundtrack, ROMEO MUST DIE also stars Isaiah Washington (EXIT WOUNDS), Russell Wong (NEW JACK CITY), DMX (CRADLE 2 THE GRAVE) and Delroy Lindo (SINNERS), and is now fully uncut for the first time in the UK.

Don’t be afraid! Don’t leave me!
“Macoto Tezka fashions an alternate universe that is part fantasy, part dystopia, and part social satire.” – Japanonfilm.com
Director Macoto Tezka’s haunting drama is a surreal dystopian film set in an alternate Japan where World War II never ended, and nightly bombing raids have reduced the country to ruins.
Izawa (Tadanobu Asano) is a lowly production assistant in the corporate monolith Media Station, housed in a gleaming building that towers above the ruins of Tokyo. He lives in squalor among pigs and chickens in an old tailor’s house, perpetually contemplating suicide.
One day, he discovers a young woman, Sayo (Miyako Koda), the wife of the neighborhood lunatic, hiding in his room, and very soon an odd and beautiful relationship develops between these two deeply lonely souls.
