Marvel Studios has dropped a stunning collection of partner posters from Avengers: Doomsday, featuring multiple new looks at Doctor Doom!
There’s a lot of excitement surrounding Avengers: Doomsday, but it’s also a bittersweet time for Marvel fans. News of the passing of the legendary Sir Patrick Stewart has cast a shadow over the countdown to the blockbuster’s release. The iconic star of Star Trek and the Marvel universe will reprise his role as Professor X in the upcoming film. However, with his appearance now confirmed as the final role he filmed before his passing, Avengers: Doomsday has taken on an even greater significance.
Nevertheless, with the countdown to Doctor Doom’s arrival officially underway, Marvel has unleashed a collection of brand-new partner posters for the highly anticipated blockbuster. And they’re glorious! Featuring the supervillain in a variety of menacing poses, these striking one-sheets showcase Doom at his most terrifying. From Dolby and ScreenX to RealD and Infinity Vision, the film’s major presentation partners are getting in on the action. And if you’re hoping to get a closer look at Doom and his mysterious witches, you’ve come to the right place!
The Dolby poster features Doom with his fists glowing with power, while the ScreenX artwork surrounds the villain with his mysterious witches. The 4DX poster delivers a particularly striking image of Doom standing victorious amid the wreckage of Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters, while the HDR artwork bathes the villain in an eerie green magical glow. Meanwhile, the Fandango poster finds Doom perched upon his mighty Latverian throne. Rounding out the collection, the RealD poster presents Doom in a striking green silhouette, while the Infinity Vision artwork takes a more artistic approach, depicting the villain standing victorious within a stunning stained-glass window.
There’s plenty to admire in this collection, and each poster offers a different glimpse of the threat awaiting Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. Check them all out below!

What a fantastic collection of new posters! Marvel’s design team has excelled, creating a perfect appetizer for fans to enjoy before the main event. While it’s surprising for the studio to highlight its villain so prominently without showcasing Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, it’s refreshing to see Marvel’s greatest foe taking over the marketing campaign. Whether Doom remains at the forefront of the campaign remains to be seen. But with the passing of Sir Patrick Stewart, any excitement for the film will undoubtedly be tempered now.
But at least his fans can look forward to one final masterclass before we bid him farewell. Doomsday is still coming, but after this week’s events, the film has taken on new meaning, and fans should prepare for an emotional ride. In the meantime, we can all bask in the green glowing brilliance of these new posters. They won’t make us feel any better, but at least they highlight what will undoubtedly be an early Christmas present to us all.
Avengers…assemble to say goodbye to an icon.
Avengers Doomsday unleashes the power of Doom on December 18.
