With Star Wars: The Last Jedi amassing an abundance of revenue at the worldwide box office, speculation has been rife as to when Rian Johnson’s sublime Episode VIII would arrive on home media. Even though Lucasfilm’s incredible movie has only been on general release for just three short weeks, the fans have begun to dream of watching it from the comfort of their own home.

And now, with the euphoria of the movie reaching its pinnacle, retailers are beginning to report the joyous news that The Last Jedi is expected to arrive on home media on Tuesday, March 27. This date is expected to be for the United States and Canada with Europe expected to be announced soon after.

The movie will be the first in the saga to benefit from the 4K Ultra HD technology as well as the traditional Blu-Ray (3D – not confirmed) and DVD editions.

There are no official details concerning additional content or bonus features, but it is expected to feature at least twenty minutes of deleted/additional scenes as well as the highly anticipated trailer for the upcoming spin-off Solo: A Star Wars Story

As soon as more details emerge and the date is all but confirmed, we will update you…

Until then
