DC Universe | Titans to Premiere on Netflix Outside of the United States

Netflix comes to the fans’ rescue!

We have some fantastic news. As recently as SDCC, fans outside of the United States have been troubled by the news that the new DC Universe streaming service would launch exclusively in the United States and would not reach our shores for the foreseeable future. However, that is all about to change thanks to Netflix.

Though DC Universe has the streaming rights to the upcoming Titans show in the United States, Netflix has officially acquired the international rights for fans outside its domestic territory.  As reported by Variety, Netflix will be home to Titans everywhere but the United States and China, the latter of which doesn’t have official access to Netflix at all. Though Titans is scheduled to hit the DC Universe streaming service on October 12th, the international debut for Titans on Netflix has yet to be announced.

This is fantastic news for fans outside of the United States. Why the DC Universe is currently only available to fans across the pond is a mystery, but a tenuous launch was to be expected and with millions of dollars on the line Warner Bros are eager to ensure victory for their new platform.

Titans will premiere on DC Universe on October 12th. The rest of us will have to hold our breath for just a little longer.
