Disney’s latest Wreck-It Ralph adventure finds Ralph and Vanellope taking their first steps into a larger world.
With the overwhelming box office success of The Incredibles 2 still reverberating around the halls at Disney, one could be forgiven for forgetting that the sequel to the hugely popular Wreck-It Ralph is fast approaching release. Not only does Ralph Breaks the Internet boast an abundance of incredible movie and cultural tie-ins, but it also promises to deliver some incredible Star Wars action when it hits our screens later this month.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story composer Michael Giacchino has already been confirmed to reprise his role as FN-3181 from Star Wars: The Force Awakens and along with his First Order Stormtrooper cohorts will attempt to hunt down Ralph and Venellope who have trespassed into the realm of the world wide web.
With all the cultural nods incorporated into Disney’s latest outing, it appears the house of mouse is rivalling the crossover brilliance of Warner Bros’ Ready Player One which brought many of the worlds most famous cinematic characters together for the very first time and symbolised a new level of unity between rival studios.
With the Disney advertising campaign in full swing, we are pleased to bring you the latest clip from Ralph Breaks the Internet which reveals Ralph and Venellope’s arrival in the internet’s central data hub.
Check it out:
Whether you are a fan of the original Wreck-It Ralph or not, Ralph Breaks the Internet appears to have everything going for it and is certain to bring families together in the run-up to the festive period. The inclusion of so many characters from a galaxy far, far away will almost certainly attract Star Wars fans of all ages and I will happily be first in line.
Ralph Breaks the Internet arrives in cinemas on November 30th.
