The Mandalorian is gaining pace ready for its debut in the Star Wars universe
With Lucasfilm confirming the full cast list for Jon Favreau’s highly anticipated live-action Star Wars series, all eyes are on The Mandalorian. The ten-episode extravaganza is set to follow the adventures of a lone Mandalorian gunslinger in the furthest reaches of the Outer Rim and will be boasting an exciting array of directors when it debuts on the all-new Disney+ streaming service next year.
One such director is Bryce Dallas Howard.
The Jurassic World starlet will be donning her directorial cap once again after successful endeavours on Solemates to tackle the ever-expanding realm of the Star Wars universe. Both Lucasfilm and the director herself have remained tight-lipped about the project, however, a recent post on her Twitter account suggests we may be in for a treat in the very near future.
Online Family! I've been going light-speed on a secret-not-so-secret project!! Sorry I've been MIA on the socials!!! I can't wait to share it with all of you soon!!!! 😘 pic.twitter.com/dZ6woHs4A1

It sounds like The Mandalorian is moving at lightspeed pace and with the show well into production, we can be forgiven for raising our hopes that a teaser trailer isn’t too far away. And who knows, Lucasfilm may be about to surprise us and supplement our first festive season without a Star Wars movie at the box office with the ultimate Christmas present.
Our fingers are firmly crossed.
